I CAN'T BELIEVE LEIGH figured out where Kerry Turner lives. I always thought my Regal Crimson obsession drove her crazy, so she's the last person I expected to stalk him.

Apparently, Taishi and Leigh were at Hayashi's the other day, and as they were exiting the restaurant, Leigh spotted Kerry. Of course, she recognizes him from the thousand posters I've got all over our room. Like a true friend, she kept her distance and followed him. I've never been more proud of her.

Kerry's living arrangements might be the most shocking part of all of this. Like any other student, he was assigned to one of the dorms. I always assumed a dead celebrity would end up in a mansion or something, but no—they're treated like the rest of us.

Leigh doesn't know his exact room number, but at least I know what building he lives in. I want to make contact with him, but I don't want to look like a creepy stalker. I have to be cool about this.

For the last two days, I've been in contact with a girl who knows even more about Kerry Turner than I do. She goes by “Squirrelgrl6,” and we've been chatting on the LightTab. She's so obsessed with Kerry, talking to her is like talking to another version of myself. An even crazier version of myself.

According to Squirrelgrl6, Kerry graduated from spirit school two days ago. As soon as I learned that, I pulled up his record.

Note: Kerry's interest in guidework is somewhat inconsistent. He works hard when the job appeals to him, but he will shut down if disinterested. He has never successfully warped, so he will need to work with a partner who can.

Hey, that's something Kerry and I have in common: an inability to warp. A six out of ten is about average. I feel proud of him for finishing school with a semi-respectable rating.

A few hours ago, Squirrelgrl6 dropped another bomb on me. Kerry and his hot instructor were dating, but they recently broke up. He's only been dead for a week, and he's already got an ex-girlfriend in the afterlife. He sure doesn't waste any time.

What's up with all these students hooking up with their instructors? Taishi and Leigh. Kerry and his instructor. I definitely don't have those types of feelings for Phineas—at least, I don't think I have those feelings for him. He hasn't contacted me for two days, and I'm starting to get concerned. I never thought I'd miss him, but I do. (If he's listening to my thoughts right now, I totally take that back).

Leigh and I are in our dorm, feasting on pizza. She hasn't been with Taishi all day, so I ask her, “Where's your boyfriend? He's been curiously absent.”

“He's got Archangel training today,” Leigh explains. “And believe me, I wouldn't want to trade places with him. It sounds grueling.”

“Why would anyone want to be an Archangel?” When Leigh doesn't respond to my question, I ask, “Wait.
